Lightroom is, in my opinion, the best digital asset management system, since it is able to be installed on our cloud servers easily and with a lot of flexibility. It is true for beginners and for experienced users. Lightroom includes an appealing photo viewer, media browser, RAW converter, camera controls and more. But Lightroom lacks for a non-destructive editing module. It is able to optimize your photos, but it can’t edit them. Furthermore, it is not totally cloud powered.
Lightroom supports Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) and Adobe Camera Raw plug-ins to optimize, but the Photo Download functionality presents its limits. For example, if you’ve saved an image to Lightroom after originally taking it with the phone camera, Photo Download does not add all the metadata from the original image. And the lack of metadata support is, in my opinion, the photo editing software’s weakest point.
When it comes to graphic design, Photoshop is one of the most powerful tools that can offer you any affordable solutions. While it offers over 80 individual tools, we’ve only listed the main ones for you in this article. While all of these are important, there is no need to get overwhelmed, so choose which ones you’d really like to learn more about; the Import and Export tools in Photoshop are pretty amazing, but will require training before you’re truly comfortable making them work for you.
